One of the Spirit Class Cruise Ships operated by Carnival Cruise Line (CCL), the 2001 built cruise liner CARNIVAL PRIDE made a maiden call to Grand Harbour, Malta on Monday 24th October.
She passed breakwaters at 0639 hrs coming from Messina, Sicily. She was built in Finland by Kvaerner Masa Yards as yard number 500 costing $ 375 million with a passenger capacity of 2,124 with 930 crew and 12 decks.
Her berth was at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves, Valletta Cruise Port.
She left later in the evening at 1728 hrs bound to Malaga, Spain.
