Offshore News – SEVEN OCEANIC and SEVEN ARCTIC at Malta in 6 days apart – September 2022.

Two offshore vessels from an interesting fleet of over 35 vessels from the Norwegian Offshore Industry Company Subsea 7 called at Grand Harbour, Malta coming from Norway bound to Filyos, Turkey for provisions, stores etc within 6 days apart from each other.

First to enter was the 2011 built Deepwater Subsea Offshore Vessel SEVEN OCEANIC passing breakwaters on Monday 19th September at 1745 hrs coming from Fredrikstad, Norway berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves, part of Valletta Cruise Port. She was built by Vard Brattvaag, Norway as the NORMAND OCEANIC for Solstad Rederi, Norway trading until January, 2021. She’s homeported at Douglas , IOM flag.

She left Valletta on Tuesday 20th September at 2201 hrs bound to Filyos, Turkey.

Then we had the 2017 built pipe laying vessel SEVEN ARCTIC passing breakwaters on Sunday 25th September at 1306 hrs coming from Farsund, Norway berthing at Pinto 3 wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port. She was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) Co Ltd at Ulsan, South Korea with yard number 2654. . She’s homeported at Douglas , IOM flag.

She left Valletta on Monday 26th September at 1478 hrs bound to Filyos, Turkey.
