One of the Damen built vessels trading at Malta was the 1974 built Damen Pushy-Cat 46 workboat HAM 774 for the Dutch dredging company HAM (Hollandsche Aannemings Maatschappij).
During the 90’s she was seen at Malta with a HAM dredger and was lifted on her hard at Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY). She was 14.45 metre long with 4.28 metre width and maximum draught of 1.85 meters. She had an a 8 cylinder General Motor type 8V-71N diesel engine with an output of 250 bhp.
She was sold to Malta Freeport Corporation and renamed as MFC 1 and was seen few times when Terminal 2 was being built
And since 2011 she has been on her hard at Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY) at Marsa, Grand Harbour.
