One of the German built ships that was built for a Russian Federation company still cruising around is the 29 years old 81 metre lady WINSEN. She entered Grand Harbour, Malta on Wednesday 10th May, 2022 at 0640 hrs coming from Barcelona, Spain. This was her second time here inside Valletta with the last one back to November, 2021.
She was built at Bodenwerder by Schiffswerft Bodenwerder in Germany in 1993 as the MEG homeported at Baku for Neva Shipping at St. Petersburg, Russia trading until Q 4 of 2015 where she was renamed as CMS SEMA and since January, 2020 with her current name as WINSEN.
Entering with partly loaded condition, she berthed at Magazine Wharf.
