Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Uniper Global Commodities SE, Düsseldorf, for one of her Post Panamax dry bulk vessels, the PHAIDRA. The gross charter rate is US$28,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum July 1, 2022 up to maximum September 15, 2022. The charter is expected to commence on September 1, 2021.

The employment of PHAIDRA is anticipated to generate approximately US$8.40 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter. She was built in 2013 with 87,146 deadweight (dwt) tons with 229 metres as length overall (loa).
