One of the reefers involved in BlueFin Tuna Procedures is the 2005 built Japanese owned refrigerated (reefer) cargo ship TUNA PRINCESS.
She was built in Japan by Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation at Shimonoseki in 2005 for Shinko Kaiun (Mitsubishi Reefers) homeported at Port Vila (VUT Flag) and during that year we saw her anchored at the AJD Tuna Farm, St. Paul’s Bay, Malta.

With 120 m length she has a beam of 16 metres and deadweight (dwt) of 4,909 tons
She’s very familiar here seeing her couple of times since 2005 and discharging inside Grand Harbour. From 2015 her flag was changed to Panama (PAN) flag.
