One of the South Korean built vessels for Maersk is the 2008 built 35,835 GRT container ship MAERSK BINTAN.
She was built in South Korea by Hanjin Heavy Industries Co Ltd at Busan and her carrying capacity is 3,194 TEU. She’s 223.5 meters long with 32.2 meters beam.
From 2008 to 2015 she was homeported at Singapore (SGP) and from 2017 she’s homeported at Hong Kong (HKG). She holds a deadweight of 43,097 tons with a MAN 8K90MC Diesel Engine of 28,880 kW.
