Offshore – OCEAN SURVEYOR in Malta – July 2021

On Tuesday 6th July, 2021 one of the former Sealion Shipping platform supply vessels (PSV) named OCEAN SURVEYOR called at Grand Harbour, Malta passing breakwaters at 1506 hrs coming from Trapani, Sicily.

She was built in the UK by Babcock Marine at Appledore for Sealion Shipping as TOISA CREST in 1999 homeported at London with GBR Flag. With 73 metres long and 16 metres wide she has a GRT of 2,401 tons and 1,336 DWT.

On 8th February, 2019 she was sold to Greek interests after she was laid up since August 2015. In August 2020 she was spotted as OCEAN SURVEYOR with the A Frame at her stern berthed at Spanopoulos Shipyard, Salamis, Greece.

She berthed at Pinto 3 Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port.

She left Valletta on Wednesday 7th July at 1822 hrs bound to the Survey Area between Linosa and Malta.
