One of the ships that used to call at Mgarr Harbour, Gozo was the 79 metre long coaster DIAMANT. She was seen several times in our territorial waters calling for uplifting bunkers and Valletta (Grand Harbour).
She was built in The Netherlands in 1985 by Ferus Smit Scheepswerf at Hoogezand with grey hull as WATUM trading until January 1995 where she was renamed with her current name.
