Due to social distance and safety measures of the Pandemic Disease COVID-19, lately the Austal built High Speed Craft JEAN DE LA VALETTE has joined the Incat built High Speed Craft SAINT JOHN PAUL II in Valletta – Pozzallo route.
This service was started on Friday 14th May, 2021 when SAINT JOHN PAUL II left Grand Harbour at 0512 hrs and returning back at 0954 hrs. Meanwhile JEAN DE LA VALETTE left Grand Harbour at 0742 hrs meeting SJP II on her way to Pozzallo with 102 passengers and returned back at 2126 hrs.

This service is being repeated especially on Public Holidays and weekends when there are groups involved. Virtu Ferries continue observe of all health requirements, including social distancing during the entire voyage, embarkation and disembarkation.
