In a continued effort to provide its customers with reliable and efficient services, CMA CGM informs of the following Overweight Surcharge:

Effective May 20th, 2021 (date of loading in the origin ports):

  • From Mediterranean ports excluding Bilbao, Vigo, Gijon, Alexandria, Damietta
  • To the US Gulf & Mexico East Coast (Altamira, Veracruz)
  • Cargo: 20′ Dry containers with gross weight exceeding 18 tons
  • Quantum: USD 250 per 20’dry container with gross weight exceeding 18 tons
