One of the Danish tugs around is the 2008 built (13 years old) tug HUNTER.
She was built in Malaysia by Forward Marine Enterprise in Sibu in 2008 as SEA REGENT trading until January 2011. She was acquired by Svendborg Bugsier A/S, Denmark and renamed as HUNTER A wearing black hull. Back to 17th March, 2011 she was photographed by us (MALTA SHIP PHOTOS) towing the 2000 built split hopper barge SPLIT 4 from the Far East towards Europe with RedWise Maritime Services.
She was renamed as HUNTER on 20th July, 2011 and wearing the company red livery. Back on Thursday 27th October, 2011 she towed the former US Army 1985 built non propelled 36.57 metres Reverse Osmosis Barge BARGE 321A homeported in Freetown (SLE Flag) inside Grand Harbour, Malta for Maltese owners.
She was seen again in December 2011, April 2012, August 2013 and images below on Wednesday 6th May, 2015.
And after an absence of 6 years she was sighted once again including floating repairs at Bezzina Ship Repair Yard part of Bezzina Group – www.bezzinagroup.com
