Palumbo Malta Shipyard – EUROFERRY OLYMPIA since 2013

One of the Polish built ships that uses Palumbo Malta Shipyard Facilities is the 1995 built ropax EUROFERRY OLYMPIA.

She entered Grand Harbour, Malta in November 2013 as the Finnlines ropax TRANSEUROPA berthing at Parlatorio Wharf. ( In January 2007 the Grimaldi Group  became the largest owner of Finnlines and expressed interest in purchasing the entire company. However, a public tender offer made to the other owners in November 2006 resulted in Grimaldi gaining only 85,029 stocks, or 0.18% of the total. In October 2015, Grimaldi completed its acquisition of Finnlines)

She was drydocked at Dock 6 in December 2013, additional cabin space was added and renamed as EUROFERRY OLYMPIA . She left Grand Harbour on 15th January 2014.

On Christmas Eve of 2016 she was seen entering Grand Harbour, Malta bound to Dock 4 upon her arrival for drydocking.

2 years later on Christmas Eve, 2018 she was spotted berthed at Factory Wharf –
