Delivery – Austal Vietnam built catamaran – A.P.T. JAMES at Malta – 02.12 to 16.12.2020.

On Wednesday 2nd December, 2020 at 1507 hrs the 2020 built Auto Express 94 High Speed Craft A.P.T. JAMES entered Grand Harbour, Malta during her delivery voyage from Vietnam towards Trinidad and Tobago.

She’s the first vessel to be built at Austal Vietnam situated at the Vung Tau Shipyard as Hull 397. With 94 metres as length overall her maximum speed is 37.5 knots and has the capacity for 926 passengers and 250 cars to the National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) of Trinidad and Tobago.

Her Machinery is 4 x MAN 16V 28/330 STC engines with 4 REINTJES gearboxes with 4 KAMEWA 112 S 3 waterjets with maximum deadweight of 593 tons. She’s all aluminium.

She was due to berth at Pinto 3 Wharf at Valletta Cruise Port but it was changed to MMH Facilities.

On Sunday 6th December she shifted to Pinto 4 Wharf at Valletta Cruise Port.

She left Valletta on Wednesday 16th December at 1827 hrs bound to Algeciras on her way home.
