Ro/Ro Ships News – EUROFERRY MALTA sold – October 2020

The Malta Motorways of The Sea Ltd managed ropax EUROFERRY MALTA owned by Grimaldi Group was sold to Turkish interests in October 2020 and renamed CENK G.

She was built at Cantieri Navali Visentini at Port Viro in Italy in 1995 as LINDA for Levantina Trasporti Srl, Italy trading until September 2005. She was sold to Louis Dreyfus Armateurs SAS and renamed MASSILIA trading for only 4 months until January 2006 of which was bought by the Grimaldi Group and renamed EUROFERRY MALTA.

She had alterations adding more lane metres to her deck in 2008 and was also used for horse transport as seen in images below back to 12th July, 2010 –

Since January 2019 together with her sistership EUROCARGO NAPOLI she was put up for sale at a price of Eur 14.5 million each.
