One of the Norwegian built vessels in the world NORSIDE SUPPORTER was at Grand Harbour, Malta today Thursday 29 th October, 2020 for few hours.

She was partially built at Norway by Kvaerner Fjellstrand at Omastrand in 2013. The construction arrived to St. Petersburg, Russia towed by BB SERVER on 16 th July, 2013 and was then towed to the Caspian Sea along the Volga, the Don and the Volga-Don canal. The tow to Astrakhan was completed by 21 st August, 2013 and the naming ceremony of the vessel as SEABED SUPPORTER was celebrated in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 12th February, 2014. She was renamed to PACIFIC SUPPORTER from July 2013 to January 2019 and was seen in Malta in January 2019 as SEABED SUPPORTER.





Since September 2020 she was acquired by a Norwegian Company and renamed her with her current name – NORSIDE SUPPORTER. She entered Grand Harbour at 0627 hrs coming from Salalah, Oman as last port via Suez Canal berthing at Valletta Cruise Port Pinto 3 Wharf.

She left Grand Harbour at 1643 hrs bound to Bergen, Norway to work in the Wind Segment of which the vessel will be further outfitted with several new and innovative Walk to Work (W2W) solutions at Fjellstrand ship yard in the coming weeks.
