The Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) has now agreed with Total to buy the oil major’s 80% stake of the GAZOCEAN, a French ship management company based at Marseilles, France which handles operation of six LNG ships.
Before Thursday 22nd October NYK Line held only 20% of the stock in Gazocean and Total held 80 %, so now Gazocean is a wholly-owned NYK unit.
