Yachting -Yacht CLEOPATRA again at Malta – 21.08.2020

One of the AMELS built yachts around the world, the 57 metre yacht CLEOPATRA entered Grand Harbour, Malta for few hours on Friday 21st August, 2020.

She was In 1985 launched as MY GAIL III. trading until August 1985 and was renamed to CLEOPATRA C until March 2001 of which used to call at Grand Harbour too.

With a steel hull the motor yacht main superstructure is aluminium and with a beam of 9.2 m she has fairly large room. A reasonably deep draught of 3m (9.8ft) determines the list of marinas she can enter, contingent on their minimum depth. She had refit improvement and modification completed by 2005. Her machinery is twin Caterpillar diesel main engines with twin screw propellers with maximum speed of 16 knots.

Homeported at George Town, Cayman Islands (CYM) her last visit to Malta was back to June 2014. Above images are during her departure on 4th June, 2014.

She was berthed at Pinto 4 Wharf, Valletta Cruise Port.
