The 62 years old lady IXPLORER is still afloat in year 2020 though now trading as KINFISH with Swedish Flag (SWE).
She was built in 1958 by Stord Verft at Leirvik in Norway as AMBASSADOR BAY trading until January 1983 then with grey hull as GEOFJORD homeported at Bergen (NOR) until January 1995; SJOMALEREN until 2001; SJOMAALEREN until 11th February 2002 and GEOSUND until March 2005.
She was seen in Malta in 2007 homeported at Marseille (FRA). Her length overall was 37.3 m with 7.2 m as beam and 4.15 m maximum draught. She was owned by IX Survey SAS part of IXBlue company.
