One of the towages currently underway is the Norwegian tug BOA BRAGE towing the 140 metres long barge BOABARGE 34 from Rotterdam bound to Gdansk, Poland giving ETA of Friday 17th April, 2020.
BOA BRAGE was built in 2009 by Med Marine, Turkey as ASD tug Rampart 3200 design and homeported at Valletta, Malta with callsign as 9HA2178.
She entered Valletta on Friday 10th December, 2010 at 0625 hrs together with her sister ship, BOA NJORD who was also built at the same shipyard but in 2010 homeported at Valletta, Malta with callsign as 9HA2375.
Both tugs berthed at Boiler Wharf during their delivery voyage.
BOABARGE 34 was built by Nanjing Wujiazui Shipbuilding Co Ltd in China as a semi submersible heavy lift barge homeported at Trondheim in Norway. Dimensions are 140 metres length, 36 metres beam and 8.54 metres draft. She has a deck space of 4,690m2 with 24,600 as deadweight.
