One of the few South Korean owned heavy load carrier is the 2010 built DONGBANG GIANT No 3. She was built in South Korea by Oriental Heavy Industries at Gwangyang with dimensions as 155 metres length overall (loa) and 38 metres beam.
She’s homeported at Jeju Cheju and holds a deadweight (DWT) of 14,406 tons. She was seen with various deck cargo such as container gantry cranes; RTG’s; Storage Tanks and Offshore Modules.
On New Year 2020 she was receiving bunkers from ADELIA at Bunkering Area 4, Malta.
And currently she’s underway to Asia.
