Ferry Service – Ropax MARIA GRAZIA ONORATO at Malta – 2019 – Malta Movements

The 2019 built ropax MARIA GRAZIA ONORATO entered Grand Harbour, Valletta during her maiden call in May 2019.

MARIA GRAZIA ONORATO which is the flagship of the Onorato Group, comprising the Tirrenia and Moby fleets is the largest operating ropax being the greenest within its category equipped with latest generation scrubbers. In fact she combines the adoption of state of the art scrubbers (which allow to reduce the CO2 content in the fumes emitted by the ship from 3.5% to 0.1%, making her one of the greenest ship in the world) with an exceptional energy efficiency guaranteed by the implementation of the rules issued by the International Conventions, modulating in the most optimised way possible the use of the power of the two Man engines according to the actual needs of the ship and the amount of load it carries.

Built in the German Flensburg Shipyards, she was launched on the 2nd August 2018 the vessel is destined to connect the ports of Genoa, Livorno, Catania and Valletta. Her garage decks have a capacity of 4,200 linear metres of cargo, making available an exceptional loading capacity for trailer operators.
