Golden Energy Offshore PX 121H series ENERGY DUCHESS , the first of two platform supply vessels that was launched on 27th October 2015 at the ROC yard, China entered Valletta for the first time during her delivery voyage on Monday 8th July, 2019.
ENERGY DUCHESS together with her sister vessel ENERGY EMPRESS are based on the PX121 design from Ulstein, and customised with one extra accommodation deck. The vessels have an overall length of 83.4 metres and a beam of 18 metres and a deadweight (dwt) of 4,000 tonnes. The vessels are equipped with the most modern solutions for DP2 (dynamic positioning), oil recovery and fire-fighting. The ships are recognised as medium sized PSVs and have a cargo deck of approximately 850 square metres and under deck capacities well suited for the intended operations.
