The 76.6 m (251.31 feet) long MLT flag expedition yacht YERSIN was seen again at the Grand Harbour, Malta on the 22nd July,2019 moored at St. Angelo Wharf, Grand Harbour Marina.

She was built in 2015 by Piriou, France for the French owner Francois Fiat who is married to Genevieve Baud, the daughter of the late Jean Baud who founded the French retail chains FranPrix and Price Leader. In fact Price Leader has more than 500 stores in France.

The yacht name YERSIN refers to the doctor and adventurer Dr Alexandre Yersin. Dr Yersin was the discoverer of the bacillus responsible for the deadly disease known as the pest of the plague.

Yacht came to Malta during her delivery voyage back in 2015 of which she’s homeported at Valletta, with Maltese (MLT) flag. She also called off Gozo back to May 2016
