The Turkish vessel DINAMIK suffered a main engine breakdown in position of 050 22 05 N, 005 57 04 W, on Aug 6, 2019, en route from Cardiff to Antwerp in ballast condition around 0920 hrs. The ship anchored in 15 nautical miles northwest of Pendeen, Cornwall around 1715 hrs. The Sea Wolf Marine Group tugboat GLADIATOR based in Falmouth, UK was assigned to assist and in the morning of 8th August she was connected and towed the vessel to Falmouth Dock.
DINAMIK was built in Turkey by Hidrodinamik Shipyardat Istanbul in 2007 with her homeport as Istanbul with Turkish (TUR) Flag.
GLADIATOR was built in USA by Bollinger Marine Fabricators at Morgan City in 1975 with her homeport as Port Vila with Vanuatu (VUT) Flag.
Images of GLADIATOR are back to 8th March 2019 when she left Valletta bound to Falmouth, UK.
