On Saturday 20th July, 2019 the 289 m long Japanese gas carrier ARCTIC DISCOVERER entered Marsaxlokk Harbour for another shipment bound to the Floating Storage Unit (FSU) ARMADA LNG MEDITERRANA.
She was built in 2006 by Mitsui Ichihara Engineering & Shipbuilding at Ichihara, Japan and homeported at Nassau in Bahamas.
She entered first thing in the morning assisted by four local tugboats PAWLINA, ST.ELMO, WENZINA and the latest one VITTORIOSA.
Mooring lines were assisted by Pilot Boat OHIO to the awaiting line handlers at the Terminal Jetty.
