The major energy player TOTAL has chartered the ship MAERSK INVOLVER for walk-to-work and accommodation services offshore Denmark.
Total’s subsidiary, Total Denmark, has hired the vessel on a 161 day contract to support maintenance of the DAN F platform located offshore Esbjerg. The contract is expected to start in April 2019.

The new subsea support vessel which was built by China’s Cosco Dalian Shipyard in 2017 is part of a 4 batch Stingray Class Vessels ordered from Maersk from Cosco. She is equipped with 120 single cabins and has an Ampelmann E-type active motion-compensated gangway system and pedestal, as well as a boat landing to perform personnel transfer via crew transfer vessels.

This is Maersk Supply Service’s (MSS) the second long-term walk-to-work contract with Total Denmark. The company in July 2019 won a contract for anchor handling tug supply vessel MAERSK TRACKER to provide multi purpose field support for three years firm in the North Sea.
