The 1988 built BHS flag cruise liner SUPERSTAR LIBRA called at Valletta Cruise Port, Grand Harbour, Malta on Wednesday 25th July 2018 for bunkering operations by local tanker SALINA BAY and taking stores with no passengers while on her way to Wismar, Germany possibly for a shipyard.
She was built in 1988 at Turku in Finland as SEAWARD for Norwegian Cruise Line. In 1997 she was renamed NORWEGIAN SEA, remaining in the NCL fleet. In 2005 she was transferred to the fleet of Star Cruises.
As SUPERSTAR LIBRA we have seen her calling at Valletta back in 2006 more than 4 times of which the below images show –
And yesterday she entered at 0804 hrs coming from Port Klang, Malaysia via Jeddah Anchorage, Saudi Arabia and left at 1805 hrs.
