Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 4 of 2018.

The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel –

Tuesday 23rd January, 2018.

The vessel DIANA was still seen grounded with no visual salvage preparations.

Wednesday 24th January, 2018.

The Israeli tugboat DANCHOR VI made several attempts to free the grounded vessel DIANA but to no success.

Thursday 25th January, 2018.

The Israeli tugboat DANCHOR VI again made  several attempts to free the grounded vessel DIANA but to no success. That night storm may helped but most probably it worsen the situation as no single tug can cope with it without salvage experts and equipment (dredging and sand fluoridation equipment) on board the vessel.

Friday 26th January, 2018.

After several pulling attempts around 1400 hrs the Israeli tugboat DANCHOR VI disconnected and left the grounded vessel DIANA.
