World Largest Container Ship – OOCL HONG KONG in the Mediterranean Sea – 02.02.2018
The 399.87m (1, 311.9 ft) container ship OOCL HONG KONG was seen transitting the Malta-Sicily Channel bound to Felixstowe, UK from Singapore mostly fully loaded on Friday 2nd February, 2018. She was built at the Samsung Heavy Industries, Geoje Shipyard, South Korea with yard number 2172 and delivered in May 2017.
She’s the world largest container ship yet built and her Capacity is 21,413 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit)
